History

The Dean Martin Estate Was built in 1972 by Jimmy The Greek (James Synder). Jimmy “The Greek” and Dean Martin had been good friends since their childhood in Steubenville, Ohio so it was a regular occurrence to have Dean Martin and his pals; Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Wayne Newton, and Jerry Lewis were frequent guests at the beautiful Dean Martin Estate just blocks from the Las Vegas Strip. The home was considered a sort of ‘safe haven’ for members of the Rat Pack to escape the Las Vegas scene.

It was a ‘Downtown Hideaway’ for other celebrities as well, such as the famous billionaire, Howard Hughes, for whom Jimmy the Greek had done a lot of public relations work.

To this day, many aspects of the home are still in original condition from Jimmy’s impeccable design taste. The grand fireplace, made of imported Italian quartz, still glistens in the front game room of the house. The large, 10 ft deep, indoor pool, & waterfall, still exhibits the grandeur Jimmy had originally intended. Inside, Jimmy imported Greek special stone for the two fire places and he built a secret tunnel between both properties.
